Borgo Pignano | Borgo Pignano is a country estate located on a prominent hill between the medieval towns of Volterra and San Gimignano, in the province of Pisa.
Pignano’s main building is an eighteenth century villa surrounded by English gardens, with pristine landscapes that are unchanged from Renaissance times. To the west, a series of hills unfolds towards the sea; to the east, woods and gardens are alive with the song of birds.
There are 14 elegantly furnished rooms and suites, some with their original frescos and all with white marble or travertine bathrooms and spectacular views.
As well as the guest rooms, Hulburd Design designed the interiors for the library, music room, living room, game room, dining room, medieval kitchen and nearby farmhouse, Casa del Lago.
